The Commercial Building Disclosure (CBD) program independent review draft report release and stakeholder consultation 2019

In December 2018 The Hon. Angus Taylor MP, Minister for Energy and Emissions Reduction announced an independent review of the Commercial Building Disclosure (CBD) program, which is being conducted by the Centre for International Economics (CIE).

The review is examining whether the CBD program is effective in improving the energy efficiency of commercial office buildings and the case for expanding the program to other high energy use commercial building sectors. The sectors under review include hotels and serviced apartments, office tenancies, data centres and shopping centres.

Consultation:

The draft report was made available for public consultation and stakeholder workshops were held in Melbourne and Sydney in October 2019.
